Our AzEIP Services

RISE Pediatric Therapies is a service provider for Arizona’s Early Intervention Program (AzEIP). Services offered through AzEIP are free to qualifying children from birth to age 3. We use a team-based, routine-based model with a parent/caregiver interaction coaching style. Find out if your child qualifies and how to get started with AeZIP.

Within the AzEIP program, we offer infant speech and language development services in Mesa. If you suspect your child may have a delay, we’ll do an assessment to see if they meet age-appropriate milestones. If testing shows your child would benefit from early intervention, we’ll help by improving their expressive and receptive language skills. We also provide feeding therapy for young ones presenting with bottle, breast, or eating difficulties.

Within the AzEIP program, occupational therapy for newborns in Mesa can help address any issues with fine motor or sensory processing skills. We can also assist with feeding therapy so your child has safe eating habits with both liquid and solid foods.

It’s important for infants to develop strong bodies so they can meet developmental milestones. Infant physical therapy through AzEIP improves endurance, stability, and motor development, helping those who need a little extra support.

If your baby is showing delays across many areas of development, we offer DSI through our AzEIP program. DSI provides services in several modalities, helping to improve your child’s proficiency in everyday routines, relationships, and activities.

Our AzEIP program provides parents and caregivers with a comprehensive program, which is led by your service coordinator. As your first point of contact, your service coordinator explains the services, your rights, coaching, the team-based model, and our unique parent/caregiver coaching support. Your coordinator stays with you for the duration of your time in AzEIP and is always available to provide information and answer questions.

At RISE Pediatric Therapies, we take our mission of providing systems of support seriously. We want every parent and caregiver to be empowered to be their child’s best advocate. Our coaching program in Mesa equips you to continue your child’s therapy at home as we train you in the best practices we use in the clinic.

Therapies for Developmental Disabilities

We also offer services through our Therapy for Disabilities (TDD) clinics for those who do not qualify for AzEIP. We serve children from birth through young adults. For your convenience, we are in-network with several insurance companies and also accept private pay. We’ve found the combination of routine-based therapy and parent/caregiver interaction gives the best results. Both AzEIP and TDD are evidence-based therapies. Find out how to get started with TDD and have your child assessed by our clinicians.

Our TDD clinic can help with children who show pediatric language development delays or disorders in Mesa. As your child grows, we’ll target more skills, including articulation, fluency, language therapy, and voice therapy. To make meal times a peaceful experience, we are happy to help your child expand their food palette as well as transition from bottle feeding or nursing to sippy cups and solid food.

Under the auspices of TDD, we offer pediatric OT services for those children not eligible for AzEIP. If your child needs encouragement to participate in daily activities, classes, or routines, our targeted therapy can help them progress in these areas. Our feeding therapists can also help remediate feeding delays or disorders and help to expand your child’s menu.

Children typically love to run, play, and move their bodies. If you’re concerned your child is not developing these age-appropriate skills, our TDD therapists can assess their abilities and provide fine and gross motor therapy for toddlers and older children where needed.

In our TDD program, we are proud to offer DMI. This movement-based instruction combines methodologies, technologies, and current research on neurohabilitation to help a child’s movements become more efficient and automatic.
